๐Philly Rap Star Chynna Rogersโ 2020 Overdose Death Raises New Questions ๐๐๏ธ
PHILLYโ Itโs been five long years, and yet the hip-hop community still got a raw wound when it comes to Chynna Rogersโour fallen queen from West Philly who was found dead at just 25 years old from a fatal drug overdose on April 8, 2020. ๐ข๐ The game ain’t been the same since, and neither has the pain, โcause baby, the questions still ain’t got answers. Chynna’s viral Youtube.com viral music videos live on!
Now that the dust settled? RAPSCO gonโ say it with our whole chest: somebody needs to be held accountable. Ainโt no way a young Black woman this gifted just drops dead off a โlacedโ hit, and no oneโs investigated, no oneโs charged, and no street whispers get chased down. Make it make sense.
๐ Who Slipped Chynna That Dose? No Arrests, No Names, No Justice ๐ต๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐
Real ones know Chynna was fightinโ them inner demons. She ainโt never sugarcoat it. But she also had her eye on healinโ. She was workin’ on new music, vibinโ with her tribe, and finally steppinโ into that light she built for herself. So how she end up laid outโgone too soon, just like that?
Reports say it was an accidental overdose from laced pills, but lemme ask you this: WHO GAVE HER THAT SH*T? ๐คฌ Somebody handed it to her. Somebody watched her take it. And somebody walked away free while a star was dimmed forever.
Philly police claimed there was โno foul play,โ but baby, isnโt negligence still foul? Where was the investigation? Who traced the pills? Was it fentanyl? Was it pressed fake Percs? ๐ RAPSCO been digginโ, and the silence is louder than a bass drop.
๐ฅ Chynnaโs Voice Still Echoes: Unapologetically Raw, Fiercely Black
Even in death, Chynnaโs spirit still stompinโ through the culture like a runway walk in Tims. ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฅ Her hitsโโGlen Coco,โ โASMR,โ โMood Bumperโโhit harder today than they did in her time. Sis had that unfiltered, sultry flow, laced with cold truths and gritty pain. And she ainโt just rapโshe reflected every Black girl tryinโ to fight through the shadows and still serve face.
We donโt mourn her in silence no more. We demand justice, because when Black women die, the world shrugs. But not us. Not RAPSCO. โ๐ฝ๐ฅ We are happy to announce she will never be forgotten. It one day will be big news to find out whoever confesses to this tragic moment in history.
๐ฃ๏ธ RAPSCO Says: Someone Shouldโve Been Charged. Period.
Letโs be clear: If Chynna had been a white pop princess or some pop punk sweetheart, there wouldโve been a whole task force. Instead, the industry moved on like her death was just another sad story. But we ainโt forget. And we ainโt gonโ stop pressinโ until we get truth, justice, and real accountability.
RAPSCO sends eternal love and power to her family, her fans, and her circle. Yโall lost a daughter, a sister, a legend. ๐๐บ๐ Have info> Email: WatchDog@raps.co.
